The origins of Brulo Lamps reaches the 70's when Jan Bruliński Senior as a student of The Faculty of Architecture of University of Warsaw drew his first project of a desk lamp. Then, using his sculptural skills, he took his vision to the workshop and built a prototype for his own use.
Later, he received first orders from the architects visiting his workshop. The project was constantly evolving and new versions were created. Over the years Jan was improving every detail and proportion of elements little by little and his projects were getting more and more functional and gained original character. Every new idea was tested at the workshop immediately. Today, the a new chapter in the history of Brulo lamps is opening. We created the family workshop from scratch: Jan Bruliński Senior, Jan Bruliński Junior and youngest son Antoni. Every lamp is done manually with a special care for the details. They are made in small series and that's why they are mostly in limited quantity. Lamps are made of natural plywood. The other construction elements are made of metal. The whole production process is environment-friendly.
